Tell us a little about you and your beloved: Jeff and I met 7 years ago in Chico at a music show and have been together ever since! We are both teachers and love to travel this beautiful world and have a deep love for history! After about 5 years I had a feeling he would propose to me at Machu Pichu, Peru on our summer vacation but instead he surprised me at a waterfall on a hike near our home just a few days before we left for Peru! He always told me that he would never do it when I expected it and he knew I had a feeling he would propose in Peru! What can I say, he knows me well! We knew we wanted a year to plan our wedding and a year later we were married!

What was the most amazing part of your day? The most amazing part of the day was the feeling of love, support, and comfort as I walked down the aisle looking at all of the people who were there to share our special day with us. I could feel the love so strongly that it brought tears of joy to my eyes! To see my handsome, soon to be husband, waiting for me made the joy rise even higher!

What else would you like to share about your big day? There were so many guests who came up to us and told us that it was a fairytale wedding and we couldn’t agree more! Everything was perfect and even the little details that were missed, did not take a toll on how smoothly it all went and how great it was overall! Jeff and I could not of asked for a better wedding day, it really did feel like a fairytale and that is due to all the tremendous help we received from our friends and family with all aspects of the wedding!

Any advice you’d give to our readers who are planning their weddings right now? Our advice would be to remember to have fun; remember why you are planning it all in the first place; and when the day comes just go with it because it is your special day and as they say, “worrying is like praying for what you don’t want!”

Anything that you would have done differently if you were given the chance? We put a lot of effort and details into our website, but it only showed that we had a small percentage of people who actually visited the site. So we would say, do not spend too much time making everything “perfect” because it is all going to work out the way it is meant to! For it is in God’s hands!
