Putting a magazine together is like, well, in many respects, planning a wedding. In this issue, we had SIX different photo shoots. With each shoot, we had six amazing teams of wedding professionals to create with and rely on. So when little hiccups arose, like Mother Nature not necessarily cooperating with our shoot days, we didn’t sweat it (well, perhaps we did just a little, being the control freaks that we are, but really not too much). Ultimately, we knew—and had confidence in—these professionals, who are completely dedicated to their craft, had it all together…and we were right. The word that kept coming to mind at each and every one of our six shoots was “magical.” When planning your wedding, keep the big picture in mind and enjoy the process, because when you work with amazing wedding professionals (like those featured in Real Weddings!), the end result for you, too, will be “magical!”
So, what’s in store for you in this issue of Real Weddings Magazine? First off, let’s talk about the aforementioned photo shoots…in each of these shoots, we got to work with six amazing real brides who acted as our “models.” Lynsey stars in our “The Future Has Arrived” feature; Annie, Elizabeth, Andrea and Katherine each star in their own season in our “What’s Your Wedding Season—A Wedding Style Inspiration Story;” and Ciara, Nicole and Rosette are our three cover model contest finalists this issue starring in our “Looking Pretty by the Lake” feature. One word: gorgeousness—the photography, the venues, the décor, the dresses, the accessories, the flowers, the hair and makeup, and let’s face it, our six lovely ladies—yep, gorgeousness. Wouldn’t you agree? Ladies, you each rocked it on your respective shoots and we just adore you—thank you for giving it your all! We love you!
And, where do we start on the 37 weddings featured in this issue? Can we just tell you how hard it is to pick the weddings that appear in the magazine? For this issue alone, we were presented with more than 200 of the area’s best weddings—frankly, we need more superlatives because we’ve already used amazing and spectacular to describe this issue’s photo shoots, but frankly, we think that the weddings featured in this issue, too, are amazing and spectacular. And while only 37 appear here in the pages of Real Weddings, you’ll see many more of these amazing and spectacular real weddings in the weeks and months to come on our website—be sure to tune in to realweddingsmag.com for our Real Weddings Wednesdays!
