Well, if it’s Tuesday, it means it’s time for another installment of…Real Weddings Partner Profiles!

This week, we present the very funny (see below!) and talented Randy Miramontez of Randy’s Fine Art Photography

Tell us a little about your company:   I am a wedding and family photographer located in northern California, dedicated to taking pictures that tell a story. . . your story.

When did you establish your business?  2008

What sets you apart from your competition?   I’m better than they are.  🙂 Ok, on a serious note I have a unique style which includes in-camera composition as well as post-processing giving a unique look to all our photographs. I work closely with my clients to ensure I capture and meet all of their expectations. I suppose I could come up with some salesy/marketing hype here, but that’s really me in a nutshell (or a paragraph).

Where do you find inspiration?   My competition. Actually the people I photograph are my inspiration. Everyone has a unique personality and style all to themselves. It’s my job to capture their personality in a photograph.

When you opened shop, what was your promise to your customers?   To not mess up?

Do you have any hidden talents?   They’re hidden, so your guess is as good as mine.

What trend do you see coming in 2010?   As the year progresses I see the usual trend of going from January to February and then onto March all the way through December. The new trend this year will be at the end of the year when we transition to 2011, which has never happened in any industry. 🙂

Do you regularly blog? What’s your blog site?   Regularly no, but I have started taking fiber in the hopes of becoming more regular on the blog. http://www.randysfineart.com/wordpress

What’s your favorite local restaurant?   I try not to dine out much. Too much money for too much food leads to too much me.

What’s your favorite local charity?   The Shriners. They help children by providing free specialty pediatric care for orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries and cleft lip and palate problems. My son, who had a debilitating case of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, received help through the shiners. They are an awesome group.

What is your favorite fun thing to do locally?   Spending time pool side with my family…and my favorite alcoholic drink. We also enjoy hiking around the foothills.

Do you have secret vice or indulgence? What is it?   See above…

What are you most grateful for in life?   Fun. If you aren’t having fun, then you’re doing something wrong.

If you were to plan your own wedding, or re-do your wedding, what elements would be most important to you?   Photography or course! That was such an easy question. 🙂

What advice would you can give to brides and grooms getting married today?   Determine what’s important to you and don’t listen to anyone else. That includes Mom and Dad. I know in many cases Mom and Dad are paying for part, if not all of the wedding services, but it’s YOUR day. The number one piece of advice I can give is don’t skimp on the photographer. . . because that could be me. 🙂

Anything else you’d like to share with Real Weddings Magazine’s brides?   I think there are laws against sharing too much.
