Now you get to learn a little bit more about our bride and groom, Angelina & Ryan! This couple rocked our “Batman” styled photo shoot from the current Summer/Fall 2015 issue! Aren’t they adorable together?
Thank you for being such amazing Real Weddings models! Take it away:
What made you want to model for this photo shoot? I have always loved fashion and shopping and everything that goes with it. To be able to be a model was always a dream of mine. When the opportunity to model for Real Weddings came up it was a dream come true. And, having Ryan model with me made it even better.
What was your favorite part of modeling? My favorite part of modeling was being able to wear so many beautiful dresses and be a part of so many peoples’ visions. There are many things that go into a shoot; it was pretty neat to be one of them.
What was your favorite part of this shoot? Did you relate to the concept? Ryan and I love Batman, he is our favorite superhero, so when we found out the theme of the shoot we were very excited. Bruce Wayne is always associated with having such a glamorous lifestyle so we could only expect to walk into a very glamorous shoot, and we did! I loved all of the details that went into the shoot, the place cards with Batman Character names, the invitation with our names on it, and little batman signs hidden in different places.
What do each of you do for a living? Ryan and I both work for the State of California, he works in business taxes and I work in budgets.
Tell us about your own wedding. Our wedding was June 14, 2015 at Taber Ranch in Capay Valley. Our theme was Rustic Italian. We had a family-style Italian dinner for the reception and the decorations were a lot of baby’s breath, white linens, and pastels. The highlight of the evening was the gelato truck. Who doesn’t love gelato?
What was it like modeling with your real significant other? Ryan tends to be a bit more reserved than I am, so it was fun seeing him in modeling mode. I was in more shots than he was, but just like life, he was always there looking on, telling me I look beautiful. When we were in the same shot together, he was like my anchor.
