Tell us a little about your company? We find that every bride and groom has their own story and being able to help them express it through design and details on their wedding day is very rewarding. The greatest sense of accomplishment we feel in our job is when we know that our couple had an even better day than they had envisioned. When we hear the guests say that the wedding was exactly what they would have expected from the couple. When the couple felt like their celebration matched the beauty of saying “I do”. When no one wanted to leave and everyone danced, laughed, drank, smiled, and left feeling as though they witnessed the bride and groom having the best day of their lives so far.

When did you establish your business? 2005

What sets you apart from your competition? Which competition? Just kidding.. there are lots of talented wedding planners out there. This job is not about me, it’s about the couple and what they want. I just try to get them to where they need to be and have fun while doing so.

Where do you find inspiration? I get my inspiration from home design magazines and home improvement stores, I enjoy re-purposing lots of elements.

What trend do you see coming for weddings this year? I see lots of glitter, gold and/ or copper accents and patterns, going from rustic to romantic-elegant.

What’s your favorite local restaurant? Paul Martin’s American Grill

What is your favorite fun thing to do locally? Paddle boarding

Do you have secret vice or indulgence? What is it? Crispy M&Ms

If you were to plan your own wedding, or re-do your wedding, what element(s) would be most important to you? I would love to invite all of my friends and family and have a destination wedding, enjoy quality time with all of them.

What advice would you can give to couples getting married today? Look at the big picture! Enjoy this amazing time of your life and don’t sweat the small stuff.
