Granite Bay Golf Club

Tell us a little about your company? The Golf Club was built in 1994 and is a “modern classic”. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and Kyle Phillips, the Club gained widespread recognition and numerous awards for its course design, greens and clubhouse. The ballroom features high sky-lit ceilings; a large built in dance floor and is wrapped in French glass doors that overlook the pristine golf course. Granite Bay is the perfect canvas to reflect your distinctive bridal style. We invite you to schedule a tour and experience what makes us one of the top rated venues in the area. We are miles away, but worlds apart.
What sets you apart from your competition? Granite Bay offers the amenities and personalized attention that you would expect from a private country club at a surprisingly affordable price. The club is available for members and non- members to host events.
Where do you find inspiration? Like most people these days, I go to Pinterest and one idea turns into another, and then another, and it usually spirals out of control from there.

What professional organizations are you a member of? NACE
What’s your favorite local restaurant? There are way too many to list! I heart food!
What is your favorite fun thing to do locally? Attending any live sporting, music and or food and beverage events in the community.
Do you have secret vice or indulgence? What is it? A big, bold, jammy glass of Old Vine Zinfandel.
Do you have any hidden talents? I can tie the perfect Martha Stewart Bow.
If you weren’t in the business that you are in now, what other business/profession would you have liked to have done? I think being a Cirque Performer would have been fun!
If you were to plan your own wedding, or re-do your wedding, what element(s) would be most important to you? VIDEOGRAPHY!! I can’t tell you how many times I hear Brides tell me that they wish they had budgeted for Videography. It is just as important as your other vendors.
What advice would you can give to couples getting married today? When booking your wedding vendors, make sure that you actually LIKE and want to work with the vendor you are hiring. It is a working relationship that lasts sometimes long after the wedding and if the communication is poor or you don’t like the personality of the vendor you hired, that is usually a bad sign. Go with your gut.
