Tell us a little about you and your beloved: Well, the story isn’t that unique, and it seems to be the most popular way to find love these days.  Yes, we met online. We exchanged emails for a little bit, and then phone numbers. After about 2 weeks of chatting, Jenn asked when we could finally meet! We had our first date May 19, 2012, and we obviously hit it off. Three years later, we are tying the knot!

The proposal is a long story, but we will do our best to keep it simple.  Bry proposed to Jenn on April 5th after having Jenn go on a Scavenger Hunt. Bry had “plans” to shop with Rachel (my twin sister) that morning, and Jenn was still sleeping when she left (Obviously, there were no plans to shop with Rachel…).

There were 7 stops total, and each spot had a different meaning to us, whether it was where we had our first date, our first kiss, our first Kings game together, our first 5k together, or the first hotel we stayed at together. Each place had close friends or family waiting to give Jenn her next clue. Bry had a limo taking Jenn and her sisters to each destination so that there was no distraction, and Jenn could fully relax and enjoy her day.  At the end of the Scavenger Hunt, Jenn was told to go to a hotel room. When she got there, the room was fully decorated with pictures of us everywhere, along with flower pedals to the bed and Hershey’s kisses all over the room. Bry then came out of her hiding spot and proposed to Jenn!

It was a perfect day, filled with so much love and support from our family and friends.  Thank you to every single person involved in helping make this day something Jenn and I will always remember!

What was the most amazing part of your day? I think we had a few parts of our day that were amazing.  Our first look was a moment we got to share, just the two of us, before the hustle and bustle of the actual event started.  We got to take it all in without any distractions and it was just very special.  We were so glad we decided to do the first look.  Our first dance was choreographed and we practiced it for probably 4 months. We were so nervous to do it, but it was something we will never forget, and it was worth all the time and effort we put into it!  Also, dancing the night away with family and friends!  They made our day unforgettable!

What else would you like to share about your big day? Our wedding was on a Friday. The next day, everyone who wanted to, did a 5k with us! It was The Color Run 5k. It was the first run Jenn and I did together so it meant a lot to us, and it was just perfect timing that the race fell on the day after our wedding. We probably had at least 30 people attend the run with us the following morning. It was a blast!  We got a lot of great pictures, and it was just really fun to do one more thing with family and friends before the weekend ended.

Any advice you’d give to our readers who are planning their weddings right now? The longer the engagement is, the easier it is to plan the wedding. We did a lot of monthly payments for things and I feel like that helped a lot. We didn’t have to give too many huge payments, all at once, the month of our wedding.  Most things were paid off, except final payment, before our wedding month.  Things weren’t rushed.  We could really take our time creating the Save-the-Dates, Invitations, Wedding Favors, Table Themes. I can honestly say we really had a lot of fun planning our wedding.
