The Couple:  Amber Ayars and Travis Galdieri
Wedding Date: August 14, 2010

Tell us a little about you and your beloved: We met at a downtown San Jose bar on a Wednesday night playing beer pong. We both agree that it is the most unlikely place to meet your future spouse, especially since we never go out during the week. At first Amber was a bit hard to read, but after constant pursuit she started liking me. It was after our first date of a hike, dinner and a movie that she went home to her aunt’s house where she was living at the time and told her aunt “this is the type of guy I could marry.” From first sight, I knew she had the looks of someone I would marry, and after a few dates she had the heart, personalityand lust for life that I fell in love with. We are pretty inseparable and even have the nickname of “Tramber.”
What was the most amazing part of your day? Really hard to pin point one thing, but I think we both were impressed with the ceremony and our vows/appreciate statements combined with our officiant’s message. We definitely loved the venue and lucked out that it was sunny!
What else would you like to share about your big day? We planned the wedding ourselves with help from a wedding coordinator for the day of. Amber did a great job at finding decorations and making everything look great.

Any advice you’d give to our readers who are planning their weddings right now? Give yourself plenty of time and don’t sweat the small stuff. We forgot to put some balloons out, but no body else even had a clue! Oh, and get a photo booth with props — it was a lot of fun, and instead of having a boring guestbook people used the photos and pens to make us a cool scrapbook.
Anything that you would have done differently if you were given the chance? Nope!
