Napa in autumn? Yes, please. And there’s no place we’d rather be than the gorgeous Carneros Inn. The vineyards, the spa, that pool. Sign us up!
Recommended Resort: The Carneros Inn. Hide away from the rest of the world in your private Napa Valley cottage. Open the door to a stylish, sun-washed space that features modern furnishings and all those extra touches that allow you to truly make yourself at home. Each spacious cottage offers 450 square feet of immaculately kept indoor living space, with French doors that open to a serene private patio for a secluded retreat all your own. Amenities include a fireplace, luxury bedding, heated slate floors, and indoor and alfresco showers.
Check In: 4048 Sonoma Highway in Napa. 888-400-9000, thecarnerosinn.com
Check Out: The dining scene. Napa is known for its incredible cuisine, and The Carneros Inn is no exception. Once you’ve settled in, you may never want to leave. Luckily, you don’t have to, with an abundance of dining options located right on the premises. Executive Chef Steve Tevere takes full advantage of the finest local, organic and sustainably raised ingredients. The onsite culinary garden offers the freshest ingredients, and the Inn crafts their own breads, pastries and charcuteries. What they don’t make or grow onsite, they try to source within a 150-mile radius of the Inn for the ultimate in flavor and freshness. One of our favorite eateries on property is the FARM. Chef de Cuisine Andrew Budnyj creates an exciting menu that showcases simple, elegant food based on the natural abundance of the Wine Country.
Don’t Miss: The spa and pool. The Carneros Inn is already the perfect place to relax and unwind, and nowhere is that more evident than the spa. Created especially for Carneros guests, the spa is truly a private oasis where you can enjoy restorative treatments using local ingredients by skilled therapists.
If you’d like to get active during your stay, contact the spa to schedule private yoga or personal fitness training. Then there’s the pool — overlooking the vineyards and rolling hills of Napa, this tranquil spot offers a view like no other.
