Relles Florist is celebrating its 70th Anniversary TODAY! Relles Florist has been providing floral arrangements to the Sacramento region since 1946 and this successful business is still blooming. The family business now includes third generation family members.

Relles Florist was started by Ross Relles Sr. with the support of his wife, Margaret H. Relles. Ross Relles Sr. attended Sacramento public schools and went on to play football at both Santa Clara University and Arizona State College. Ross Relles Sr. served in World War II and returned to Sacramento to work at another floral shop. On October 19, 1946 he opened Relles Florist located at 2220 J Street, Sacramento. Almost as impressive as the many years in business is the fact that Relles Florist has been housed on J Street, Sacramento since its inception, now located just a few blocks from the original location.
