Whitney and Gavin’s love story began in the most unexpected (and meaningful) way—at a family celebration that would quietly set the stage for their future together. Introduced by Whitney’s best friend—who also happens to be Gavin’s cousin—their connection sparked instantly back in 2020. Fast forward to a romantic beach proposal along the shores of Half Moon Bay in July 2024, and it was clear this was a love meant to last.

When it came to their wedding day, Whitney and Gavin kept their vision simple and heartfelt: a celebration centered on love, joy, and being fully present with the people who matter most. Despite juggling demanding schedules—Gavin in a paramedic program and Whitney in a teaching credential program—the couple approached planning with intention, choosing to focus on what truly mattered rather than getting lost in the details. The result? A beautiful, relaxed celebration at Lake Natoma Inn filled with meaningful moments, emotional highlights, and a dance floor that stayed lively all night long.

From a deeply personal ceremony officiated by Whitney’s father to unforgettable speeches and sweet, quiet moments shared with loved ones, their wedding perfectly reflected who they are as a couple—grounded, joyful, and surrounded by love.
