While we fully believe there should be no rules for your wedding day, there are certain rules we always follow when it comes to our styled shoots—especially when it involves the gowns. Because the dresses are generously loaned by our incredible bridal boutique partners (truly, we are so grateful for them!), we typically keep things very controlled (cue Wendy’s dress lecture!). That means no walking, no running, no rolling through grass, no dramatic movement shots… basically, our real bride models don’t move much at all. It’s all about protecting those beautiful gowns and returning them in pristine condition.

But every once in a while… a little magic happens ✨

For this wedding-inspiration styled shoot at Park Winters, we were given rare, special permission to break the rules for one very specific dress from Always Elegant Bridal & Tuxedo, and for one specific shot. What if we could let our real bride model Haley, run to her beloved groom-to-be Kyle? Not just a careful step or a soft stroll by Haley—but a full-on, joy-filled, heart-racing sprint through the gardens toward the person she loves most. And what happened next was everything.
