It’s Fri-YAY! Who’s ready for a little adult beveraging? ✋✋✋✋ We are, We are! This week’s delicious #signaturecocktail is from Alyson & Jean Pace from Belle Aventure Mobile Bar Co.: Strawberry Lavender Lemonade with Vodka
Oh yeah, we got to taste this refreshing concocotion on our “Love You to the Moon and Back” photo shoot, and it was delightful!
So get your cocktail glasses ready and let’s celebrate the weekend!
Strawberry Lavender lemonade with Vodka
- 1 1/2 oz. vodka
- 2 oz. strawberry lavender simple syrup*
- 3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
- Club soda
- Dried lemon
- Lavender
*Strawberry Lavender Simple Syrup recipe: 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, I cup diced strawberries, 1 1/2 tbs lavender buds. Simmer all ingredients on low heat for 10 mins, strain to remove lavender buds and use a hand blender to blend strawberries. Strain again to remove any seeds and store in an air tight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Directions:
Add vodka, strawberry lavender simple syrup and fresh lemon juice to a cocktail shaker and shake for 12-15 seconds to chill the drink. Strain and pour over ice into a highball glass.Top with club soda and garnish with dried lemon and lavender. Enjoy!
