Karissa and Austin’s love story may have started in a way they jokingly call “cliché”—a swipe right on Tinder—but what followed was anything but ordinary. After nearly seven years of building a life together—complete with their first home and beloved golden retriever—they returned to where it all began for a heartfelt beachside proposal in San Francisco. From that moment on, their wedding vision was clear: a day centered on love, intention, and unforgettable memories with their favorite people (and yes, ice cream for that Sacramento heat!).
Planning wasn’t without its challenges. Between demanding work schedules and an unexpected change in planners, the process tested their patience. But as fate would have it, finding the right planner brought everything together seamlessly, reminding them that sometimes the detours lead to the best outcomes. With a focus on meaningful details—like having Austin’s brother officiate and choosing music that reflected their journey—they created a celebration that felt deeply personal.
Their wedding day struck the perfect balance of heartfelt and joyful. From emotional moments like watching Karissa walk down the aisle to lighthearted touches like a custom photo booth wall and ice cream for guests, every detail reflected who they are as a couple. And once the ceremony ended and they walked back down the aisle—drinks in hand and officially married—the stress melted away, leaving only the excitement of celebrating the start of their next chapter together.
