Happy Birthday to us! That’s right…15 years ago, we launched a little magazine called Sierrastyle Weddings Magazine. Three issues later, we became Real Weddings Magazine (we felt the name more accurately represented the realness of what we were doing). While our name changed, our goal for the publication (and now for our website + social channels) has remained the same: inspire our readers to plan their perfect wedding however they envision their perfect day. We’ve encouraged our readers to break the rules (actually we think there shouldn’t be any rules). And with this, our 29th issue, we continue to feature weddings and produce photo shoots that are diverse, interesting, and, we hope, yes, inspiring.
Thank you for picking up this issue, for using it over and over again…nothing makes us happier to hear how much you enjoyed the magazine! Oh, and don’t forget: when you find your wedding dream team through the magazine, our website or our social channels, be sure to tell them that it’s because of Real Weddings that you found them…we know they’ll be thrilled to hear that as much as we do! First up, let’s talk photo shoot inspiration: this issue, we produced five styled shoots each with unique themes. Starting on page 36, you’ll find: “Sustainable Beauty,” “Enchanted Love,” “The Art of Love,” “Love at the Lavender Farm,” and “Charmed by Love.” On each of these shoots, we had a great time playing dress up and working with talented design teams to create inspiring décor sets.
