We’ve said it from the very beginning. Break the rules. It’s your wedding. Do what you want. We know that sometimes that’s easier said than done, but, ultimately, it is your wedding.
Through the past nearly 17 years of producing Real Weddings, we’ve tried to convey this message. We’ve never taken the tone, “you must do this” or “you must do that.” And we never will. If you want to do “The Chicken Dance,” do it. If you want to do the “Hokey Pokey,” do it (and P.S. we want to be invited to your wedding if you do…we love a good “Chicken Dance” and “Hokey Pokey!”).
But the one thing we will always encourage you to do: HIRE PROFESSIONALS. Check it out: @realweddingsmag) want nothing more than to help you create the wedding day of your dreams. They know how to make it happen.
