Real Weddings – WS11

We absolutely love our cover models! Each issue hundreds of real brides enter our cover model contest, and, ultimately, we have to choose just three finalists. We then put these real bride models through their paces on an all day photo shoot…we start the day as virtual strangers, but, by the end of the day, these young women truly are part of the Real Weddings’ family. This issue we present our incomparable cover model contest finalists, Shelbie, Terra and Elizabeth—we’re so honored to have them grace the pages of our magazine. Thank you ladies!

We’ve worked hard to jam-pack this issue with as much inspiration as possible! Starting on page 83, we present 26 spectacular real weddings—and on pages 78 and 80 we give you a sneak peek of the five additional real weddings featured exclusively online. These featured real weddings are some of the best of the best from this past wedding season. As always, there’s simply no way that we can tell these couples’ entire stories or list all of their wedding vendors in the magazine, so we put even more of their information along with additional wedding photos and tips from the couples on our Web site, so log on now for more. Can’t get enough real weddings? Neither can we, so tune in to our Real Weddings Magazine Blog each Wednesday for our “Inspiration Boards“—mini-featured real weddings utilizing local resources!

But wait…there’s more! (Yeah, sounds a little infomercial-ish, but, hey, there is a lot more!) For some divine décor inspiration, check out “The World Traveler“ concept shoot starting on page 73…divine indeed! To take some of the hassle out of finding the perfect wedding party gift, our gift finder extraordinaire Melissa Camilleri Magliola scours the area to find some fun things for everyone on your list (and perhaps something for yourself?)—check out her finds starting on page 32. On page 30, Sharon Penny’s “For Your Review“ column presents some helpful wedding planning tools—and you should tune in to our Blog for frequent updates on planning tools and fun things that Sharon tracks down. And, of course, you cannot miss Darren Elms’s “Always a Bridesmaid“ column on page 26.

Need some help finding your perfect wedding accoutrements? Look no further than Real Weddings Magazine’s “Style Files: Your Local Wedding Planning Resource Guide from Sacramento to the Sierra.“ Our team has assembled fabulous photos featuring exquisite flowers, scrumptious cakes and desserts, fun favors and glamorous invitations—all from local wedding professionals—along with usable tips, helpful hints and extensive local vendor resources to help you assemble your wedding dream team. And, did I mention our Web site and Blog? Because we cannot fit all the fabulous photos, tips and helpful hints into our “Style Files“ pages in the magazine, we have frequent “Eye Candy“ Blog entries and guest blogger tips along with updates to our “Style Files“ photo gallery section online, so tune in often!
Real Weddings Magazine is truly a team effort—I cannot thank all of my team and the wonderful contributing wedding professionals enough for all of their help to produce this issue. Thanks gang…I owe you one!

As always, we love to hear from our readers—tell us what you like and what you want more of…we want to serve it up for you! Feel free to email me at wendy(at)stylemg.com.

Happy planning!
