Ladies! If you haven’t already met Monique Lhuillier, allow us to make the introduction.
Born and raised in the Philippines, the designer came to Los Angeles to study fashion at FIDM where she met her husband and business collaborator Tom Bubgee.
While planning her own nuptials in 1995, the young bride saw a void in the fashion-meets-bridal category and became inspired to start her own collection of gowns. And the rest is history.
Her looks have been featured widely by magazine editors and snapped up by celebrities, making her one of the most sought after designers around.
It’s about time we shared some of her gorgeous creations, this grouping from her Spring 2011 collection. Enjoy the show!
