Facebook stock may be experiencing its ups and downs, but the dress worn by the new Mrs. Zuckerberg is up…way up! The surprise, low key affair certainly had everyone buzzing only one day after Zuck’s big IPO hit the market, but it’s the dress that’s proving to have lasting power. And can you believe his wife Priscilla bought this gorgeous Claire Pettibone gown off the rack!?
The silk-lined dress featured laser cut florals and matte sequins for gorgeous affect. According to sources, a dress like this goes for under $5,000.
Apparently, the designer didn’t even know she would be wearing her dress! Since the new bride displayed the dress last Saturday, stores that carry her designs have been inundated with calls, and traffic jumped substantially on her Web site. Good for her! Goes to show you don’t need to be Vera Wang or Monique Lhuillier to grab front page attention.
