Welcome back to another installment of Real Weddings Magazine’s Partner Profiles!

Today, we highlight Debbie Norman from Lily Rose Photography (we love that she’s slightly obsessed with Diet Coke — we are too!).  Take it away Debbie!

Lily Rose Photography

Tell us a little about your company?  Lily Rose Photography’s services are best described as contemporary, fresh, and timeless. We take pride in our creativity and “above and beyond” way of thinking when it comes to photographing “your” day, capturing the perfect balance of portraits and photojournalistic images that represent the true moments and special memories, down to the last detail.

What sets you apart from your competition?  I would rather have colleagues; than competitors. I am more than willing to share knowledge and assist any photographer in the area. I am a part of an amazing team of talented individuals. Beyond that, I will always go the extra-mile for my clients.

Where do you find inspiration?  Everywhere: magazines, Web sites, nature, TV, commercials, movies.

Do you have any hidden talents? Everyone has hidden talents.

What trend do you see coming in the near future? I would hope that the trend is to focus more on love and the actual relationship. Having an over-the-top party for 500 of your ‘closest’ friends is missing the point.

Do you regularly blog? What’s your blog site? Yes, check out: lilyroseblog.com

What’s your favorite local restaurant?  I’m a sucker for P.F. Chang’s; but love Ruth’s Chris as well.

Do you have secret vice or indulgence? What is it? I am only slightly obsessed with Diet Coke, fortune cookies and the color purple.

If you were to plan your own wedding, or re-do your wedding, what elements would be most important to you?  The romance.

What advice would you can give to brides and grooms getting married today?

1) Have a long engagement, there is no rush

2) Focus on your relationship. When all is said and done; you have each other.

3) Don’t have a friend photograph your wedding

4) Breathe. Relax. Planning your wedding may be overwhelming at times. Relax and enjoy the process. At the wedding, same applies; the day will go by so quickly … enjoy it!

Anything else you’d like to share with Real Weddings Magazine’s brides? This is my “about me” section on my blog (although I’m a bit on the private side):

The Debbie not everybody knows…

I am a lover … not a fighter.

I am a hopeless romantic.

I am extremely competitive.

I am sometimes able to claim “smart cookie” status.

I am only slightly obsessed with Diet Coke and the color purple.

I am a daughter, sister, aunt, mother and friend.

I am fascinated and drawn to quotes … which leads me to fortune cookies … lots of them.

I am a perfectionist … and quite stubborn.

I am an artist … I dream.

I am creative … I envision.

I am passionate … I feel.

I am a photographer … I create.
