Tell us a little about your company?  We are Wedding and Family Photographers. What is most important to us is getting to know you, capturing your personality and candid expressions and creating your story that can be told for a lifetime. We strive to make your wedding photography experience fun and enjoyable. We limit the number of weddings we shoot each year to give our clients outstanding customer service.
When did you establish your business?  2004
What sets you apart from your competition?  We are a boutique shop, keeping couples’ experience with us very personal. We limit the number of weddings we shoot each year so each client is treated as special as they are when they work with us.
Where do you find inspiration?  Everywhere I look! I love bright colors, nature and love. I find those inspirations all around me.
When you opened shop, what was your promise to your customers?  They would never experience a shortage of great photos!
Do you have any hidden talents?  I’m a pretty good singer and have actually sung professionally.
What trend do you see coming?  Brides and grooms are booking vendors sooner than ever.
Do you regularly blog? What’s your blog site? Oh yes, I have been blogging every week, sometimes every day, since 2006. Our blog is memoryjournalists.com/blog.cfm

What’s your favorite local restaurant?  P.F. Changs (for sentimental reasons and I LOVE Chinese Food)
What’s your favorite local charity?  St. Baldrick’s!
What is your favorite fun thing to do locally? I love hiking in Folsom/El Dorado Hills with my husband, Cory.
Do you have secret vice or indulgence? What is it?  Do I really have to admit this? I get facials at least once a month and can’t survive without frequent massages.
What are you most grateful for in life?  Every minute.
If you were to plan your own wedding, or re-do your wedding, what elements would be most important to you?  Intimacy and photography
What advice would you can give to brides and grooms getting married today?  Don’t get bogged down too much by the planning. Remember what this is all about…you two and your connection to each other NOT all the little details. Something will go wrong on your big day and it won’t matter ultimately.
Anything else you’d like to share with Real Weddings Magazine’s brides?  The chemistry between you and your wedding photographer is so important. Make sure you BOTH meet with potential photographers and be sure to do an Engagement Session. It gives everyone a chance to get to know each other a bit before the big day.
