Tell us a little about you and your beloved: We are high school sweethearts. We met freshman year in our very first class. Years later, we took a small weekend trip to the Redwood national forest. On the second day there, Roland got down on one knee and proposed. Total surprise to myself because I had planned it all and he had a plan of his own all along.
What was the most amazing part of your day? Being surrounded by friends and family and finally seeing all of our hard work paid off.
What else would you like to share about your big day? It true when they say it flies by. Try to be the most present and enjoy every minute!

Any advice you’d give to our readers who are planning their weddings right now? Enjoy the process. At times it can be very stressful but just remember that it will pass and try focus on the bigger picture which is getting married to the love of your life. Planning a wedding is something you hopefully only do once so you might as well enjoy it!
Anything that you would have done differently if you were given the chance? I would have told myself not to stress out as much and stop trying to please other people. This is a wedding for you and your spouse, don’t listen to all that outside noise and focus on what makes you both happy!
