Tell us a little about you and your beloved: Jordan and I met at the birthday party of a mutual friend. I had been told we would be walking to a bar which was only a couple of blocks away, so I wore my 5″ high heels.
The bar turned out to actually be 15 blocks away. So when it came to the end of the night, time to walk 15 blocks back to the car my feet were KILLING ME!
Although Jordan hadn’t talked to me all night, when he heard me saying I didn’t think I could walk all the way back he said “I’ll carry you!” And my knight in shining armor carried me all the way back! How could you not fall in love with a man who would do that?
What was the most amazing part of your day? Our first kiss as man and wife. I was SO excited to be marrying Jordan, I couldn’t hide it from my face.
Time couldn’t go by fast enough, I just wanted to be married to my best friend and to celebrate with my friends and family.
During the ceremony all I could think was “I can’t wait to be married. I can’t wait to be his wife!” So when I heard “You may now kiss your bride!” and kissed MY HUSBAND, it planted a permanent smile on my face that hasn’t come off since!
What else would you like to share about your big day? Instead of a father/bride, mother/groom dances we did one big dance with our parents, brothers and sisters. The newly joined family all danced with each other! I thought it really showed that we were not just two people joining together but two families becoming one!

Any advice you’d give to our readers who are planning their weddings right now? Plan as much as you can, but on the big day: relax. Slow down and enjoy each moment. Anything that goes wrong will just end up being a funny story you can share with your friends and even future children!
Also, we went with a photo album-guest book and I absolutely LOVE it. To see everyone’s faces and how much fun they were having on the day of your wedding is priceless!
Anything that you would have done differently if you were given the chance? Not a thing. Our wedding was absolutely delightful!
