Here to inspire you, it’s Real Weddings Wednesday! Today, we present Stevie + Garrett!
Tell us a little about you and your beloved:
Garrett and I met in June of 2012 at a local bar! A good friend of mine told him I wanted his number as I was way too shy to do so my self! We exchanged numbers and began talking. We went to dinner on what I would consider as our first date on 7/12/2012 and we have been together ever since really. We moved pretty fast, moving in to our first apartment in October of 2013 and we bought our house in August of 2014 together and were engaged December of 2018. Not very romantic! He proposed in our living room, and I of course said yes!
What was the best part of your day?
For me it was walking down the aisle and seeing Garrett and the look on his face! I would love to rewind and go back to that moment.
Anything else you’d like to share about your big day?
I loved every minute of it! So true when people say it goes by so fast!

Any advice you’d give to couples planning their wedding right now?
1. If you have any spare wiggle room in your budget, use a coordinator! I wish I had one just for day-of because we fell behind!
2. Try to enjoy every second of your big day and not stress over little things because it will fly by!
Anything that you would have done differently if you were given the chance?
I would have used a wedding day coordinator for sure! Other than that, it was perfect and I would do it again the same way! Minus the wind, it was horribly windy, but I can’t control the weather.
