What is a designer trunk show?
Most bridal salons are only able to carry an edited selection of gowns from each designer they stock. Trunk shows allow brides to be to view complete or nearly complete collections from a particular designer. Trunk shows are a great opportunity to view a greater selection of gowns, and they are especially great if you already have a designer in mind. Boutiques often turn trunk shows into a celebration and often offer an extra special dress hunting experience.
Where are trunk shows held?
Trunk shows are held at local dress boutiques. Check designer websites, boutique websites and social media for updates on when trunk shows will be held. Here is a list of some upcoming, local trunk shows.

Things to remember:
Trunk shows only last a few days, and most boutiques require an appointment, so be sure to book your appointment as soon as possible.
Although trunk shows offer exclusive access to collections, do not expect to see items on sale. However, some designers or boutiques may offer a discount as part of their trunk show celebration.
