We are so lucky to work with the best and most talented pros in the wedding industry. It makes us so happy to be able to share our partners’ creativity and expertise with you, our dear readers!

Our friends at Jenn Robirds Events sent us some amazing insight into the design trends that are sticking around for 2017 and we just had to share it with you!

Take it away, Jenn!

Greenery, greenery and more greenery.

Our brides are asking for lush garlands, arrangements filled with textural greens, and ceremony arbors or infinity circles covered in greenery. It doesn’t stop there: place sprigs of fresh greenery at place settings, tied to the back of chairs and/or drape it from the ceiling.

In 2017, you can’t go wrong with the Pantone color of the year literally everywhere!

Crowns and head jewelry are back, big time.

We’ll be honest, we’re going to miss all of the flower crowns 2016 brought us, but crystal embellished head pieces are going to be big this year. Think petite and low-profile crowns to pull this look off.

Honestly, who doesn’t want to be a princess on their wedding day?!

The knot napkin.

No more tri-fold napkins this year wrapped around your dinner plate. Brides instead are opting for the unfussy look of a knotted napkin on each place setting. Easy to execute and high in style points, this presentation adds dimension to your wedding day tablescape.

Bonus: Tie your place card to the knot with twine or silk ribbon and adorn with greenery.

Just say no to basic linens.

Velvets, patterns and linens with texture will be big in 2017. Add elegance to your table with ornate overlays, or patterned table runners. Mix wooden farm tables with velvet runners to create a rustic-chic vibe. Don’t be afraid to mix up your linens — try rectangular shaped tables in one color and fabric and round tables in another. Variety is the spice of life and we are excited to see lots of unique, rule breaking designs this year.

Bye-bye black, hello navy.

More grooms are opting for navy blue suits and brides are accenting this with deep burgundy and blush. This color palette transcends through spring to winter very easily. Make your man shine with a fun and unique patterned tie from tiebar.com (a favorite and their new BHLDN tie line is amazing). Accent this perfect palette with your favorite metallic in the form of candle votives, chargers, lanterns, chandeliers and flatware to make your bright hues pop.
