Tell us a little about you and your beloved: David and I met 7 years ago at the gym, I was head over heels from him the second we saw each other, he on the other hand took some time…lol. After years of remaining friends, to be real friends with benefits, David finally asked me to be his girlfriend 2 years ago. On April 7th, 2018 he proposed to me on the big screen in front of our closest friends and hundreds of other people at a San Jose Sharks game! It was the biggest surprise of my life and so epic, everyone in the stands were cheering and taking videos and pictures, we even were invited up to a suite from a bunch of Lululemon employees who showered us with lots of champagne. It was such an amazing and fun night. I soon after went into planning mode, I’ve had my dream wedding planned since I was 16 and my Pinterest had been waiting for this moment.

Within 3 weeks of the proposal we had our date set, venue booked, and the deposits down on our photographers and videographer. You could say I was VERY excited. I’ve heard a lot of brides talk about how stressful wedding planning is, but honestly it was so fun for me. From dress shopping, finding decor inspiration on Pinterest, to getting our marriage license, it was all very exciting to me. I really think I should’ve been a wedding planner because I enjoyed it and I miss it.

What was the most amazing part of your day? Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, not one thing went wrong. The weather pulled through for us and it was a beautiful day. My day was the only one weekend it didn’t rain and I’m so grateful for that. Everything went as smooth as I hoped it would and the whole day exceeded my expectations. But if I had to choose my favorite part, it would have to be saying our vows. David’s was so sweet and hearing him tell me just how much he loves me and how committed he is in front of all our family and friends was so meaningful to me and really made me love him just that much more.

Any advice you’d give to our readers who are planning their weddings right now? If you are going to splurge on anything it should be your photographers and videographer because they are the ones who you are paying to help you relive your wedding day over and over again.

Anything that you would have done differently if you were given the chance? Not eaten so much In-n-Out and Chick fil-A while I was trying to cut down for the wedding! HaHaHa! But honestly our day was perfect, I can’t think of anything I would have changed.
