The Couple: Chelsea & Jacob

Tell us a little about you and your beloved: We met while I (Chelsea) was working at a bar in Roseville. Jacob did not give up on making me his girlfriend, and it worked! We dated for 3 years and he proposed to me on July 24, 2015 in Maple Ridge, Canada. He took me to his grandparent’s old house there and he set up roses that spelled out “I LOVE YOU” on the grass like his grandfather used to plant for his nana when they lived there. He got down on one knee in the rain, and I said, “Yes!”
What was the most amazing part of your day? The most amazing part of the day was when the officiant said, “I am proud to introduce for the first time, Mr & Mrs Jacob Hendricks!” I think reality hit us both and we were like, “Oh my god! We are married.”
What else would you like to share about your big day? I think we would like to share that you really need to take in every moment because it flies by so quickly. We were so sad when it was over and immediately wanted to plan something else.
