Tell us a little about you and your beloved: I met him through my cousin, who is one of his friends.  My cousin wanted to hang out with my roommate and he brought Huynh along to occupied me and the rest is history. We decided to take our dogs Bentley and Roxy to Tahoe for their first time in the snow on New Year’s day 2016.  Afterwards, we drove higher into the mountains overlooking the lake and he set up his tripod on the back of his truck for us to take pictures.  With his camera remote in one hand, he got on one knee and proposed outside in the snow.

The wedding planning went into full effect within a week after the proposal. I had reserved our venue and got the date for the wedding.  It was easy at first planning the wedding and getting most of our vendors squared away, but there were so much little things that we had to get done the few weeks before the wedding. Luckily for me, my husband was very involved with the planning as provided the vision of the decorations and all the flowers.

What was the most amazing part of your day? The most amazing part of my day was greeting my guests as they entered with a photo of the bride and groom.

What else would you like to share about your big day? The day started early before sunrise for my hair and makeup and we had a start time for our tea ceremony at 8 a.m. at my parent’s house. After that, we would head to Stockton to the groom’s parents house for another tea ceremony. It involved the groom’s side traveling to Richmond, CA, back to Stockton, and then off to Sacramento to the wedding reception. 3 cities in one day! It was a long day for everyone as we partied past midnight.
