Tell us a little about you and your beloved:
-We met through a mutual friend while I was on a serving shift. Pat asked me out on the job (scandalous!).
-Our first date was at the Winchester Mystery House Fright Night around Halloween time. We are still haunting  each other 7 years later.
-Pat proposed on Christmas morning. Every year we get each other an ornament for the tree that represents something significant from the past year. I opened the box to see a giant diamond ring ornament, looked up and Pat was down on one knee. The rest was a blur of tears and champagne.
-While Marie led the majority of the planning, Pat was invested in all decisions made and it was such a wonderful combination of meaningful details that we both collaborated on.

What was the most amazing part of your day? Seeing people from all facets of our lives coming together to support us and celebrate.

Any advice you’d give to our readers who are planning their weddings right now? Keep your momentum! It is a lot of work, details will catch up to you as the day gets closer, but it’s a wonderful opportunity to create an event that showcases your personalities and so worth the hard work.

Anything that you would have done differently if you were given the chance? I would have hired decorators or a day of coordinator. I thought I could divide tasks between wedding party members since there were so many of us, but it made for a hectic few hours before I started getting ready. Anything you can pass off so the day of can be relaxing is highly recommended!
