The second you get engaged your brain immediately turns to planning and imaging that gorgeous gown you’ve secretly added to your Pinterest board or the custom tux you’ve been designing in your mind for months.
While attire is important, Kelly Peart of Blossom Farm Vintage Rentals recommends selecting your venue before making any big wedding day decisions. She says that, “Your venue is not only one of the most important aspects of your big day, but it also plays an integral part in vendor selection and décor, specifically rentals. Perhaps your dream venue requires the rental of chairs, or perhaps it includes chairs, opening room in your budget for the linens you were hoping for.
Either way, first comes loves, then comes engagement; then comes venue selection. Once the venue is set, the other decisions, especially the really fun ones, are easier to make.
