The Beatles are someone who the family all has known and loved for so long; singing Twist and Shout in a circle with the family was one to remember!
While planning the wedding, was there anything in particular you knew you wanted for the day? Did you have expectations?
One thing that was important to the both of us was to be surrounded by the people we love! Another couple of things we really wanted to do was make sure we took a few moments to step back look over all our family and friends, and see how perfect that day that we had been planning for more than two years was. And, of course, we wanted to make sure food and drinks were constantly flowing and available to our lovely guests.
Any vendor(s) you'd like to rave about?
All around, all vendors were absolutely spectacular… They made the day so special!
Any memorable moments from your reception? Toasts? Fun dances? Performances?
Have to say, hands down, the speeches were so memorable! The Father of the Bride, Glenn Beddow, closed the speeches with nothing but love, positivity and perfect advice for the future.
Any funny or unexpected wedding moments that happened throughout the day?
We had our best friend dress up in a woman’s wedding dress for first looks…. everyone was in hysterics!
What was the best part of your day?
Bride: Best part of my day, gosh that is a difficult one. Being a COVID Bride I really truly tried to embrace the WHOLE day. However, I would have to say getting ready for the Big Day with all my best of friends started the day off to perfection but honestly being able to see my Husband at First Look will always be a moment I will never forget. The nerves were high, the wind was insane but all I wanted to do was kiss my husband because we FINALLY made it to our special Day.
Groom: Finally getting to see my bride walking down the aisle and thinking wow it is finally here. Seeing her walk down the aisle and thinking she is all mine!
What was your favorite detail from your wedding day?
The Reception…The Flowers, the way the tables were set, the signage…we looked over our day and it was truly magical! It was THE wedding we dreamed of!
Looking back, what do you think your guests will remember most about your wedding?
The anticipation… Our wedding was one of the first events that happened where people could be without masks, hug each other, smile, enjoy themselves, BE NORMAL! So we feel as though everyone had a blast being back to normal and our wedding being a BLAST of a party!
What tips or advice would you give to couples planning their wedding today?
Take time to step back and look at all the planning you have done and embrace it! This is YOUR day!
What would you have done differently if you had the chance?
We would’ve stayed at our dinner table and ate and allowed people to come up and talk to us instead of us separate and go out and about and greet everyone! (We lost track of time).
