We got engaged on Sunday, January 13, 2019 during our church service at Bayside Midtown, where we met. We were suppose to go on stage and share with our congregation about Growth Track, a class to help you understand your purpose and get closer to God. During Matthew’s turn to speak he kept going on and on and then proposed. It was so exciting because God had showed me he would propose to me and he did. I have the proof in a notebook I wrote with the date I wrote it on. It was very exciting and surreal.
How would you describe the ceremony?
It was perfect because we seen a lot of family we didn’t expect to see and it was such an amazing feeling after months of planning we finally were getting married.

Any tips you’d give brides and grooms planning their wedding today?
Keep it simple and really think about what matters.
What would you have done differently if you had the chance?
Not invited so many people and enjoyed the day more.
