We used Beyond Smitten Events for our wedding planning and Mae was absolutely fantastic. Dixon Florist did our floral arrangements and they were stunning!
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF THE DAY?
Matthew and I can both agree that our favorite part of the day was our first dance song. He likes to hum me the tune and dance in the house unexpectedly, he’s done this our whole relationship. Everything seemed to fade out of view once the two of us heard the song.

Not a single groomsman or groom knew how to tie their ties, we were scrambling for anyone. Eventually my wedding planner Mae found a kitchen staff member who could do it!
TELL US ABOUT A FAVORITE MOMENT FROM YOUR WEDDING DAY.
One of my personal favorite moments was looking over and seeing my grandmother dancing with the glow sticks we provided for the reception. She has ten grandchildren and I was the first one she got to see get married. It brought so much joy to me getting to see her so happy. She has unfortunately since passed.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO FUTURE COUPLES?
Everything works out in the end. I was so stressed about everything looking and feeling perfect when all I really needed to worry about was making it down the aisle to my husband. As soon as I saw him, the floral arrangements and DJ set didn’t really matter anymore. I would tell them to remember the day is about you and your partner; everything else is just a plus!
