How did you meet?

We met in Las Vegas, the bride was there for her birthday and the groom was there to see Guns N’ Roses concert. We had mutual friends and met for the first time! Then back home in California, we reunited and became friends, then eventually fell in love.

When did you become engaged, and how?

October 25, 2024. In Paris in front of the Eiffel Tower!

#CeremonyGoals

Bride wanted a place AT the venue to get ready—did not want to worry about transport place to place after hair and makeup. But mainly, we just wanted to make sure we were present for our whole wedding.

We wanted to do a first look and most photos before the ceremony, so that we could actually attend the cocktail hour and be there for every part of the wedding! We didn’t want to disappear for hours taking photos while everyone else was having fun!

How would you describe the ceremony?

Our officiant was Jared’s best friend, Travis, so he made the ceremony super unique to u. Instead of reading from paper, he used a copy of Rolling Stone Magazine—his script was tailored perfectly for us. We also did a unity ceremony using sand that we poured from Eiffel Tower—shaped glasses.

Any funny or unexpected wedding moments that happened throughout the day?

The groom’s dad interrupted our first dance, and the best man (the groom’s brother) had to come forcefully dance him away so we could resume our first dance!

Special Songs

First Dance:  “You Make It All Right” by Dirty Honey

Father/Daughter Dance:  “Forever Young” by Bob Dylan

Mother/Son Dance:  “In My Life” by The Beatles

Last Dance:  “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen

Erin’s Favorite Part

After the ceremony, before we made our entrance to the cocktail hour, our venue set aside 15 minutes for us to just sit in a room alone. We each had a drink and some appetizers, and the venue coordinator didn’t let anyone in the room. It was so cool to have a special moment just for us.

Jared’s Favorite Part

The ceremony! Our officiant did so great, and made it such a perfect ceremony that fit our personalities so well. The view was epic, and it was just a magical moment.

Favorite Detail

Our guestbook was an electric guitar! Everyone signed it, and we have it hanging in our home now—such a cool visual.

#VendorRaves

All of them, but especially Mike from SJ’s Disc Jockey (the best ever!) and our videographer, Tyler from Tyler & Co Films—the best hype man all day. Everyone was seriously so great.

Looking back, what do you think your guests will remember most about your wedding?

It was themed to be rock and roll, just like our personalities. People still tell us how cool and unique everything was to us as a couple!

Advice from the couple:

Take it step by step! Try not to think about every single thing all at once because it’s easy to get overwhelmed. Take it one step at a time, and just keep going. Do what YOU want to do, it’s YOUR day, and at the end of it you don’t want to say you didn’t do everything you wanted because other people told you differently.
