How did you meet?
We met at church when we were in high school.
When did you become engaged, and how?
We became engaged in July of 2022. He proposed during the bouquet toss of his twin brother and the bride’s best friend after their COVID wedding celebration.
How did the planning go?
It went well. Our favorite time was when we handpicked the songs we wanted played before, during, and after the ceremony. At times it was overwhelming, but our wedding planner made everything so much easier for us.
#VendorRaves
Our caterer was absolutely amazing. His prices were reasonable, he was super easy to work with, and his food was to die for. We would 100% book him again and recommend his services to anyone in need.
#WeddingGoals
We kept our expectations flexible. We wanted to go with the flow and not get caught up in anything that may change at the last minute on the day-of.
Biggest Challenge
Our biggest challenge was that we were not local to the wedding location.
How would you describe the ceremony?
Our wedding ceremony was everything we hoped for. The ceremony location was breathtaking. The most unique thing for the ceremony is that our officiant was the groom’s Father – that was very special to us.
Bella’s Favorite Part
The moments immediately after the ceremony was finished all the way through dinner. After eight years in this relationship, the feeling after finally being married was surreal. Then during dinner, being able to share that feeling with the people most special to us was absolutely incredible.
Memorable Moment
I would say the most memorable moment from our reception were the toasts. Every single toast given was incredible. We laughed, we cried, and we laughed again. The bride’s brother who was also a groomsmen, gave a speech where he admitted after 21 years that he indeed was the one that cut the brides hair when she was three years old.
Favorite Detail
Our photos turned out so good. Our photographers were incredible and made the time we spent being able to not only take the photos but enjoy the moments right after the ceremony so memorable.
What do you think guests will remember most about your wedding?
Our venue was stunning; I think the views from the day, and the speeches are the things they will remember most.
Advice from the couple:
Stay consistent. Do a little bit every day and make it fun. Try to enjoy every moment even though it can be stressful at times. Also make sure to set aside time to spend with your significant other outside of wedding planning. Enjoy each other’s company and this time of your lives.
What would you have done differently if you had the chance?
I don’t think I would do anything differently. Everything turned out amazing and each little quirk made the day so much more special to us.
