First Dance Song
“You Are the Best Thing” by Ray LaMontagne
Any vendor(s) you'd like to rave about?
Megan Goetz Photography. We absolutely loved every single photo from our wedding day. She is an incredible photographer and a wonderful human being. Truly loved her professionalism and all of her photography services.
How would you describe the ceremony?
Our ceremony was fun but sweet. Some thing that was unique was our ceremony shot. We took a unity shot of Patron out of wine glasses, which made the ceremony even more memorable.
Any memorable moments from your reception?
Our first dance and our toasts from our loved one were the most memorable and meaningful to us. There were lots of tears shed during both of these parts of the night.
Any funny or unexpected wedding moments that happened throughout the day?
The bugs that were in our unity Patron shots. Since our wedding was outside some bugs made it into our glasses and we just had to go with the flow and take the shots with the bugs. Yummy and extra protein.
What was the best part of your day?
Bride: Seeing my husband tear up as I walked down the aisle.
Groom: Watching my beautiful wife walk down the aisle.
What was your favorite detail from your wedding day?
The photo arch with a neon sign that one of our friends made for us.
Advice from the Couple
The more go-with-the-flow attitude as a bride you have, the more enjoyable the day will be. Having a day-of coordinator will be your saving grace. It will help to make your vision and everything come to life, and will ease any stress and make the day so much more fun.
What would you have done differently if you had the chance?
Elope or have a destination wedding. Although our wedding day was big, sometimes we wish we had a destination wedding and avoid the stressors that sometimes come with a large wedding.
