How did you meet?

We met online dating (we both swiped left on Hinge and Tinder).

When did you become engaged, and how?

We got engaged about a year after meeting. Alex had introduced Jose to a group called Monsieur Perine and they fell in love with their music. A year later, Alex and Jose bought tickets to see them live in San Francisco. Jose coordinated with the band to do a proposal on stage before their favorite song, Volverte a Ver.

While planning the wedding, was there anything in particular you knew you wanted for the day? Did you have expectations?

We wanted our dogs to be part of the ceremony and beyond that, we did not have any expectations.

How did planning go?

The planning went well. It was fast and furious from the moment we decided to get married to our wedding day, so at times it felt like a lot at once. Our planner, Sara from Rainbow Weddings & Events, made everything easier and talked us through those stressful times.

What was the biggest challenge of wedding planning?

The guest list! Ha ha!

How would you describe the ceremony? Was there anything specific that made it unique to you as a couple?

We wanted just our closest loved ones to be with us, and that felt very special to us.

Any memorable moments?

Hearing each others vows, and having our dogs be our ring bearers.

Any funny or unexpected wedding moments that happened throughout the day?

Our dogs, Ollie and Loki, stealing the spotlight.

Special Dances:

We walked down the aisle to “Ojitos Bonitos” by Bad Bunny piano version.

First Dance Song:  “ADMV” by Maluma

What was the best part of your day?

Our first look after we both got dressed, and having our dogs be part of the wedding.
