How would you describe the ceremony?
We actually had two ceremonies. We had a Catholic ceremony in the morning and a Hindu ceremony in the afternoon. Two ceremonies in one day! Our ceremonies were like a dream because we couldn’t believe that it was finally happening and that we got to see so many people we loved that we hadn’t seen in a while due to COVID.

All of the choreographed dances. We had a first dance, father/daughter dance, mother/son dance, groom’s cousin’s dance, and bride’s cousin’s dance.
Bride: When we were taking our couples photos. It was the only time the two of us got to spend much of any time together.
Groom: Spending time with our family and having fun during our reception.
Our guestbook. We had stumbled across the idea of having guests taking polaroids, gluing them into the guestbook, and writing a little something next to it.
Wedding planning is terrible, but is so worth it. Remember to enjoy your actual wedding day because it goes by in the blink of an eye. The anticipation is the most terrifying part but once it gets going, just go along for the ride, no matter what gets thrown your way.
We would have chosen a venue that provided us with more services rather than trying to do 90% of the planning on our own thinking it we would save more money.
