How did you meet?
On a dating app.
When did you get engaged, and how?
September 16, 2022 in Yosemite on the peak of Artist Point.
#WeddingGoals
We had our own vision, but working with Jessica (our wedding planner) really helped in bringing that vision to life. The things we knew we wanted had already been found when selecting the venue.
How did the planning go?
The planning went smoothly for us. Jessica with Quartz Hill Estates met with us a few times over the 10 months prior to the day-of, always offering to meet more if ever desired. She was prepared with the necessary questions and tailored the décor to exactly what we were looking for and had many options for us to choose.
Biggest Challenge
Not realizing how many ‘last minute’ purchases there would be.
How would you describe the ceremony?
The ceremony was intimate, yet lighthearted. We gave personal vows with heartfelt words and a little laughter sprinkled in.
Memorable Moment
Lots of kids and toddlers made for a great time dancing—they were dancing more than the adults and definitely put on a show for everyone.
Funny Moment
Greg, our DJ, turned into a live singer and had a great voice!
#VendorRaves
Katie (our photographer) was wonderful to work with during the entire engagement! She picked out beautiful locations for our engagement photos and was so easy to get comfortable in front of the camera with. All photos were delivered in a timely manner with over 1,100 from the wedding alone.

Kids dancing during the reception.
Advice from the couple:
Explore Etsy for custom decor. Give yourself a cushion of 15% of your planned budget for last minute items and do not stress about your budget the last couple weeks before the wedding day. You will already be stressed enough getting everything in order and packed.
What would you have done differently if you had the chance?
We would have given ourselves a bigger time cushion for dinner. Time goes by so fast once the ceremony starts and the timeline will never be 100% perfect. We would have loved to have had the chance to at least be able to say hi to each table. We were only able to stop by five or ten tables before we had to start the speeches.
