What was the biggest challenge of wedding planning?

Our plans had to change several times due to COVID and eventually we planned the whole wedding in two weeks. The unknown was the biggest challenge.

How would you describe the ceremony?

The only people we wanted to participate in the ceremony (and toasts at the reception) were our immediate family members. My husband has two daughters from a previous marriage and they were our flower girls. The Maid of Honor was my niece. His nieces did all of the readings. My oldest nephew escorted my mom down the aisle and my twin nephews were the ring bearers. It was important to us to have all of the “kids” (some are teenagers) in our lives involved.

What was your favorite part of the day?

Libby: For me it was seeing Richard for the first time (at our first look). I was extremely nervous until that point, and then after that, nothing else mattered.

Richard: Dancing with my wife for the first time.

Any memorable moments?

Our brothers gave the toasts at the wedding for us. It was another way to include family members without having many attendants.
