How did planning go?

Our favorite part was looking for a venue and sampling the different cakes. The overall planning went smoothly. The hardest part was fine tuning the songs and finalizing the seating arrangements.

While planning the wedding, was there anything in particular you knew you wanted for the day?

We knew from the start we wanted an outdoor wedding, and we fell in love with Wolfe Heights venue.

What was the best part of your day?

Lisa: I have three actually! My favorite part of the morning was spending time creating memories and getting ready with our daughters, my mother, bridesmaids, and maid of honor. My favorite part of the afternoon was marrying my favorite man and becoming his wife! And my favorite part of the evening was greeting all our family and friends and dancing the night away.

Mike: My favorite part of the day was getting dressed and ready with my guys. I really was blown away by my beautiful wife, and watching our children walk down the aisle and having them be part of this special day. Spending time with our friends and family that traveled to celebrate with us.

Memorable Moments

The toast by the best man and the maid of honor that we have known since early childhood was a memorable and touching moment. The first dance was special and memorable, and the fun sparkler send off was beautiful!

Advice from the couple:

Allow plenty of time to plan and set a realistic budget.

Anything you would have done differently?

We would have had a videographer, and took first look photos prior to the wedding day to cut down on time away from our guests and reception.
