Tucked into the storybook garden setting of The Hanford Garden in Sutter Creek, Maggie and Dom said “I do” surrounded only by their closest family and friends. String lights glowed overhead as the couple exchanged personal vows they’d written themselves, and in a detail that had everyone smiling, their dog served as flower girl, trotting down the aisle in her own flower crown as a full-fledged member of the wedding party. It was intimate, peaceful, and entirely them.

The reception was where their personalities really took center stage. Dom is an avid golfer, so he and Maggie built mini golf holes from scratch for guests to putt around during the party. Maggie, a lifelong reader, had her table numbers printed on some of her favorite books, and for the seating chart, every guest’s name and table number appeared on a bookmark displayed across a big mirror. To honor Dom’s Mexican heritage, the couple served tacos, rice and beans, margaritas, and churros for dessert, and guests raved about the food well into the night. As the string lights twinkled overhead, Maggie and Dom shared their first dance to “Crazy for You” by Adele, closing out a day built entirely around what they love.

We’re thrilled to feature their love story in the Summer/Fall 2026 issue of Real Weddings.
