In the most recent — Summer/Fall 2011 — issue of Real Weddings Magazine, we teamed with pros Katie Edwards of Ambience Floral Design and Lora Ward of A Day to Remember Wedding & Event Planners to create four tabletop designs on four totally different budgets to give you an idea of what things cost. The results were nothing short of spectacular!
In the coming weeks, we’ll feature more pictures from each of the tables, and detail the cost of each of the four tables. First up, table #1, our Beautifully Basic tablescape.
The attention-grabber of table number one is a simple centerpiece featuring a hurricane vase filled with an eggplant-colored ribbon bow-tied around an ivory-colored pillar candle and surrounded by scattered pink, peach, lavender and yellow rose petals and accented with small votive candles.
“It has a little bit of color and a little bit of details,” says Edwards. This classically-simple table design uses all “house” linens and china, which means these elements are provided by the venue at no additional cost.
“This table will cost anywhere from $25 to $35,” says Ward. “The table is budget-friendly; looks clean and uses house everything for the basics.”
The cost for this table is incurred by adding the hurricanes, candles and rose petals. Total cost: $25 to $35 per table.
