The Couple: Sarah & Jeff
Wedding Date: September 27, 2014
Tell us a little about you and your beloved: Jeff’s proposal was a complete surprise. We were at Lake Shasta with friends and family on a houseboat for the weekend. He took me for a ride on our boat just before dinner and proposed on the front of the boat in a small cove in the lake. It was so sweet! His parents, my mom and a group of close friends were back at the house boat where we got to share the news and celebrate.
What was the most amazing part of your day? Being with family and friends…the reception. Celebrating with those around us.

Any advice you’d give to our readers who are planning their weddings right now? Remember to enjoy your day. Really take it in and take the time to experience what you have created. It goes by so fast. Don’t worry about the small things or the things that may or may not happen. They won’t matter as long as you take it as it comes. And, make sure you eat, drink, dance and have fun!. It’s quite an amazing day!
Anything that you would have done differently if you were given the chance? Can’t think of anything. It was pretty great!
