Selecting a wedding venue is one of the biggest wedding-planning decisions a bride and her groom have to make. And even after the area is narrowed down, finding that perfect place can be daunting to say the least. The online research, phone calls and viewing appointments quickly become a full-time job. Who has that kind of time? Imagine if all the legwork were done for you with VIP treatment to boot.
Tahoe South and TahoeWeddingSites.com did just that with their “Match Made in Tahoe” contest. They awarded eight Facebook fans with a weekend getaway to scope out the most sought-after venues that South Lake Tahoe has to offer.

When contest winner, Michelle Buathier, first saw the ad for the contest in her Facebook newsfeed, she said, “What the heck, it’s worth a shot.” When she found out she had won just after getting engaged, it made everything feel real. She knew she wanted to get married in Tahoe, but she didn’t know where. The Tahoe South and TahoeWeddingSites.com “Match Made in Tahoe” contest was designed for brides just like Michelle.

When the organizers called Michelle to go over the details, she could hardly believe all that was included. Michelle and her fiancé fell in love with each venue, so they are still having a hard time narrowing their decision down, but they are incredibly grateful to have been able to see so many great locations all in one fabulous weekend.
