We’re animal obsessed over here at Real Weddings, and this past spring, we finally got to have some of our favs from The Drunken Burro co-star in our “Let’s Do Brunch” styled shoot at Gold Hill Gardens! We’re thrilled to introduce you to our four-legged co-stars, Cerveza, Brandy, Rosé, and Moochelada—these four cuties were on their best behavior throughout the long shoot day and were absolutely delightful! Now we’re spoiled and want to have them on every shoot we do! So without further ado, we present Cerveza, Brandy, Rosé, and Moochelada!

A little about Cerveza, Rosé and Moochelada from Haily and Nick from The Drunken Burro:
Cerveza is a four year old mini John (castrated male) donkey. He has a unique “paint” coloring. Cerveza was born in Texas and when we laid our eyes on him we knew we just had to have him! At the time, he was only three months old. When he was weaned from his mother, he began his journey to us here in California.
He began his debut with The Drunken Burro as a baby, only being used at events for photo ops and socializing. At the age of two, he began his training as one of our Beer Burros.
Brandy is a ten year old mini Jenny (female) donkey. Brandy came to us as a rescue. We are not quite sure what her past entails, but what we do know is that we gained the sweetest little soul the day we brought her home! Brandy is always the first donkey to meet us at the gate and always accepts lots of pets.
She is one of our Serving Beer Burros! She began her training in early 2023 and has done an exceptional job at all of the events she has been a part of.
Rosé is a young Mini Highpark Heifer (half highland/half white park). Born in March 2024, she came to us in February 2025.
Rosé’ will not be available for Bovine Bottle service at events until the end of 2025. She is available for events for “photos and socializing” with her Burro friends. Rose’ is also available to photographers for sessions.
Moochelada is a young Scottish Highland Heifer. Born in June 2024, she came to us in September 2024. Moo will grow to be a bit bigger and will have the typical shaggy hair with long horns, but she is already just so cute.
Moochelada will not be available for Bovine Bottle service at events until 2026. She is available for events for “photos and socializing” with her Burro friends. Moo is also available to photographers for sessions.
Rosé (right) is then joined by Brandy (left) and is featured with our human real couple models Della & Auzzie.
Brandy gets to bring the refreshments down the aisle with our human real groom model Auzzie.
Moochelada finally gets to be in the spotlight when our human real couple models Auzzie & Della move to the bridge.
And, here comes Cerveza! Imagine making the grand entrance to your reception with super-handsome Cerveza escorting you!
And, finally, Cerveza’s bringing the cool beverages for you and your guests!
