Tell us a little about you and your beloved: Mattias and I met in 2008. He was a restaurant owner and I was a food broker trying to sell him ranch dressing. We became friends and workout buddies. We didn’t get engaged until February 14, 2016. We went to San Francisco for Valentine’s Day and Mattias asked me to marry him at dinner at Forbes Island.
What was the most amazing part of your day? The whole day was quite magical. His special moment was watching me walk down the aisle. My special moment was hearing him say his written vows. Also, my children are all grown but listening to each of them give a toast celebrating Mattias and our marriage. It touched me.
What else would you like to share about your big day? We were supposed to get married at a completely different venue, but because of the Cascade Fire (just two days before the wedding) we made the hard decision to move venues. It ended up being a magical day.

Any advice you’d give to our readers who are planning their weddings right now? The day goes by so fast, really try to take time to breath and take it all in.
Anything that you would have done differently if you were given the chance? Even though the chaos was out of control 48 hours before the wedding, I believe it was meant to be.
