Tell us a little about you and your beloved: We met through mutual friends. After FaceTiming and talking on the phone for a few weeks, we both drove four hours each to San Luis Obispo just to meet in person for the first time. Eight months later, Cameron proposed at sunset on the very same beach where we met for the first time. We had a lot of help with the wedding process from family and friends. I also handmade a lot of decorations and bridesmaid gifts to help us stay within our budget. After everything was said and done, we ended up under budget, and we had the best wedding we could have ever hoped for.

What was the most amazing part of your day? Feeling all of the love and support from our friends and family really made our day that much more special.

Any advice you’d give to our readers who are planning their weddings right now? Your wedding day is not about the decorations or the food or any other minor detail, but rather it is about the tremendous love the two of you share and the family and friends that come to show you their love and support.

Anything that you would have done differently if you were given the chance? Not a single thing. Maybe in some way our wedding wasn’t perfect, but it was absolutely perfect to us.
