Ok, so this post really isn’t about a Dazzling Dress, per se, but it’s certainly something that can make your dress more dazzling…bridal hats, fascinators and headbands from Louise Green Millinery!

This super chic designer first caught both my attention and that of editor/publisher Wendy Sipple when we worked across the street from her unassuming studio in Los Angeles.

I got the opportunity to peek inside when I covered hats for the Kentucky Derby and knew Louise would be the perfect resource. The milliner has been creating vintage looking chapeaus for stylish women and celebrities since 1987. Using different colors, fabrics, textures and all kinds glamorous details, British-born Louise’s handmade creations make hats, fascinators and headbands en vogue again…even for our darling brides.

And, we love Louise’s designs from her bridal line so much that they graciously allowed us to borrow several for our cover model contest photo shoot this past September. You can see more of them in our cover model layout in our current Winter/Spring 2011 issue of Real Weddings Magazine!

In the meantime, here is a sampling off lovely looks that would make wonderful additions to a bridal ensemble with a romantic flair:

Soft Green Headband (pictured at top of blog entry):  This rose headband with netting gives the ultimate antique look.

Ivory Headband:  Evoke a silent screen siren with this headband accented with feathers and a ribbon rose.

Black and Ivory Headband:  A stylish feather and ribbon rose headband for you two-tone gals.

Silver Headband:  This shimmering silver flower is sure to turn heads.

Ivory Headband #2:  Two flowers is sometimes better than one!

Wired Floppy in Alabaster and Soft Green:  Fill to the brim with this stylish look with a soft green ribbon and velvet wired edge.

Rider, winter white: Make an impression with this rider in velour finished felt, silk velvet cabbage rose and veiling.  We are HUGE fans of this hat here at Real Weddings! It’s actually on the cover of our just released Winter 2011 cover!
